The Mini Monks age group is adorable… and they kick butt, too!

Your child means everything to you. So, for each Mini Monk, our goal is to develop them into a strong, bully-proof, disciplined person by instilling our 5 Values: Attitude, Integrity, Respect, Self Control, and Heart. Your child will learn that good character is doing the right thing when nobody’s looking.

Recommended for ages 6-8, this group works best in focused 45-minute increments. We give them plenty of exercise and movement so they can let out that youthful energy in a positive way. They will also learn self-defense moves to advance to the next rank in a safe, encouraging environment.

This age is a perfect time to start Martial Arts. Being so young, the Mini Monks are ready to absorb the coordinated movements and basic disciplines we teach. We love spending time with this age!

Those who continue training in Martial Arts as they grow ultimately develop a keen sense of discipline, respect, and physical coordination, which easily translates to other sports they try along the way. Your child will also develop an unshakable confidence to handle anything life throws at them.

On average, Mini Monks attend once or twice a week. Within 6-12 months, you will see a whole new child ready to take on the world.

The Standard Program for Mink Monks includes one weekly semi-private lesson (30 min) and access to the Mini Monks Group Classes. Semi-private lessons are our specialty at Boulder Karate, and we’ve found that students learn best with weekly personal attention. When you sign up, our instructors will contact you to schedule your child’s weekly Semi-Private lesson time.
